Acute Gout Treatment 

Tab  colchicine 0.5mg OD for one week

Tab neprox 250mg BD for 7days

Tab Prednisolone 20mg for 3days and then tapering over 7days

Cap Zoltar 40mg OD for 14days

Prevention/prophylaxis:;

Tab  Zyloric(allopurinol) 100mg OD may be increased to 300mg OD. 

                                 OR

Tab  Zuric/gouric(febuxstat) 40mg OD may be increased to 80mg OD

                                 OR

inj Pegluticase 8mg every two weeks
