Mutiple Sclerosis Treatment

 

                         

Acute Attack

inj Methyprednisolone 1gm IV OD (3days)

                                  OR

Tab Methyprednisolone 500mg OD (5days) then followed by

Tab Prefnisolone 40mg daily for 10days,then 20mg for 2days,and then 10mg for 2days

Plasmapheresis

To prevent Relspse;-

Tab Imuran(azathioprine) 50mg BD

                                 OR

Ing interferon beta-1a 30mcg/0.5ml I/M qwk

                                 

Inj Natalizumab 300mg I/V monthly
